pretty simple
1. Patti Griffin's harmonies soared, especially on the Zep remakes and Atlanta's majestic Fox theater never seemed so dream-like as it did to me last Saturday night.
2. His current sound; a hybrid of early rock-n-roll, bluegrass, gospel and blues was just simply gorgeous.
3. Pretty simple, folks; If you miss this tour, you're missing something equally as special as any Led Zep, earlier solo or Raising Sand tour.
4. Boogie T is not content being an icon. He is on a journey and you're either on it with him or you're not.
5. What other performer of his status (are there any?) would take a backseat and actually sing backup vocals for his amazingly talented band-mates?!?! NO ONE!
6. At one point, I sat down (even though I was 12 rows back from the stage), stared at the night sky ceiling and absorbed every nuance of the sound before me. It was spiritual.
7. The BOJ is a perfect compliment to where he is currently (never standing in one place long to have expectations of the future), but also as a huge FAN of music.
8. Boogie T will, in my humble opinion, go down in history as one of the greatest musical innovators and explorers of our time.
